Motorcycle Repair & Rendezvous is unique. Not only do we specialize in BMW bikes, we are a stark contrast to many service and sales facilities. We are bike enthusiasts with years of riding experience. We are a small shop, and when you talk to us, you are talking to the same people who will service your bike.
We invite you to take a look at the motorcycle industry as it has become today. Big multi-line dealers, huge investments, amazing overheads. The shops are shiny and new and have lots of great stuff on the shelves, are open from way early in the morning until too late at night. They are efficient; you can take your bike there and some professionally smiling person will put all your requests into a very large computer. Your bike will be whisked away into the back part of the shop that you cannot even see where someone you may never meet will perform the work that you asked for. The technician will do a good job, then move on to the next machine, usually never knowing who the rider of the bike was. Then the professionally smiling person will tell you that your bike is done and you can be on your way. It costs a lot, but the work is done quickly and correctly. You just write a check and you can get back on the road again. It feels just like when you take your car into the shop.
We offer an alternative that we think you will enjoy -- a small shop with some different views. We think you want to know the person who is working on your bike, or helping you choose a jacket or trinket. Our goal is to really know you so we can meet your wants and needs. We love this sport and are as enthusiastic about it as you are. We give you expertise gained by decades and hundreds of thousands of miles riding BMW’s. You may have to wait a few moments for Jeff or Ron to wash their hands before they help you because they were working on a bike as you walked in, but we think the wait will be well worth it!
Even though we are small, we are completely up to date on the technologies involved in this sport. Ron is one of the very few mechanics in the USA to have earned the prestigious Master Certified Technician status from BMW. We can perform the maintenance items required by BMW to maintain your original BMW warranty or after-market warranties. We use Original Equipment BMW parts and the service is done in strict accordance to BMW specifications. Plus, our prices are more reasonable than most other service facilities.
We want to be your one-stop-shop for motorcycling needs. We have tires to trinkets, conversation to clothing, and everything else you want or need in a motorcycle shop -- all offered in a more personal and generally less expensive way. So come on in for a visit, pull a stool up to the counter, grab a soda or a cup of coffee and see what you think. We bet you will like our version of a motorcycle shop!
We welcome visiting riders who are looking for maps, directions, etc. We also cater to bikers who camp, and can either supply your needs or point you in the direction of where to get it. We know travelers have special needs and we will work with you to get you on your way without a hassle. |
