Dinner & Weekend Rides
The following rides will start at BMW Motorcycles of Utah, SW corner of 90th S and I-15
For the first dinner ride of each month we encourage you to bring out your oldest motorcycle. However, if it is raining you will probably ride your newer bike with the windshield and other good weather protection.
July 30-Aug1 - BHB Victor ID campout
July 31 - 4:15pm - Dinner Ride – Daniels Summit (RT40)
Route:
Leave BMW Motorcycles of UT, and pickup I-15 N, then pickup I-215 N
Pickup I-80 E toward Park City
Exit I-80 onto Rt 40 heading S toward Heber City
Stay on Rt 40 in Heber City, heading to Denver
Continue on Rt 40 to Daniel’s Summit.
Restaurant is in Daniel’s Summit Lodge/Café/Store Rt 40 (435-548-2230)
August 7 - 4:15pm - Dinner Ride - Taggart
Route: Note: Normally we would take a route using East Canyon
but the tar strips are so bad we are not using East Canyon.
Leave BMW Motorcycles of Utah and Pickup I-15 heading N
Pickup I-215 heading E, then pickup I-80 heading E
Exit I-80 at Exit 155 for Wanship
L onto Main Street heading north to Wanship
This road becomes Hoytsville Rd into Coalville
Stay on this road past Echo Reservoir.
Go under I-80 staying on Echo Road heading northwest
This becomes Henefer Road as you near Henefer.
R at Y toward Croydon (if you come to I-84 you missed it)
L in Croydon 1900 N heading W
Pickup I-84 heading NW to Ogden
Exit I-84 at Exit 108 to Taggarts
R onto Taggarts Ln and Taggarts Restaurant
August 14 - 10:00am - Autumn Ride Contest Starts - turn in your contest papers to Ryan or Matt in Parts at BMW Motorcycles of Utah 9000 S and I-15 by end of Saturday.
Autust 14 - 4:00pm - Spring & Summer Ride Contest Ends - Pick up the new ride contest from Ryan or Matt at BMW Motorcycles of Utah 9000 S & I-15
August 14 – 4:15pm - Dinner Ride – Wolf Creek
August 21 - 4:15pm - Dinner Ride – Mirror Lake Hwy
August 28 - 4:15pm - Dinner Ride: Award Dinner Spring Contest
September 3-6 - MCRR 4 day ride - Colorado
September 11 – 4:15pm - Dinner Ride – Emigration Canyon
September 18 – 4:15pm - Dinner Ride - Nebo Loop
September 24-27 - MCRR 4 day ride – Zion’s Park. This is
in conjunction with the Beehive Beemers campout.
The Beehive Beemers will have campsights near the entrance to Zion's Park; Al Wagnon, club president, is handling the camp site selection. Springdale is 1/2 mile from Park entrance. We have reserved lodging at the Bumbleberry Inn 897 Zion Park Blvd @ $108 per night; this is the least expensive we could find. You can either call Jeff Thurmond (801-243-0660) before August 31st and Jeff will assign one of the reserved rooms to you, or you can contact Bumbleberry Inn at 800-828-1534. We have dinner reservations for Friday night at Wild Cat Willie at 7:00pm next to Bumbleberry Inn.
Springdale fills up fast in September and October so do not wait to get a room if you are not camping. Other lodging options are:

We hold three riding events each year: our Spring & Summer Ride Contest, our Autumn Ride Contest, and an overall year mileage listing. Prizes are awarded for placement in these events. Our Ride Contests have specific destinations and visual scavenger hunts.
We also do three weekend rides each year.
We participate in local special events, and will be there to not only enjoy the fun but to answer your questions.
